November 7th prompt: synonyms of Autumn and leaves

Jane Dougherty’s a Month with Yeats: Day 7:

“These lines are from ‘To the Rose Upon the Rood of Time’ by W.B. Yeats.
‘…stars, grown old
In dancing silver-sandalled on the sea,
Sing in their high and lonely melody.’”

The sound of wind on water can be soothing if the strength of the wind is right.

the ‘bracts’ is a great word (I might steal this one :-)) – In so few words you’ve created a season, a skyscape, a seaside and a bedside. Bravo.
