misty night

a hazy moon behind trees

the sole quality

a silent witness to this

passion emptying forth

 

Let my heart pour out like a libation, to rest only in you with the trust of a sleeping child!

 

mossy ground

this emptied tea cup the sign

of that old magic

the romantic kind growing

stronger and stronger each day
