Way of Journeying: a #writephoto #TankaProse

autumn-018-21

I meander among undressing trees and verdant banks. Some visit me while hiking the trails nearby. Others fish.

But who stops to see the ripples play across me as I flow on? Who has the serenity, courage and wisdom to journey to the end as I do?

I have not met any, yet. But hope abides.

colored leaves

slow breathing beside

a placid river

all the strain forgotten

at the journey’s end
