Meditation in Blue: a #Quadrille #Gembun #sequence

Blues riff

on a cocktail napkin

a single tear

They want my blue eyes. If they only knew …

clear sky

rustling leaves

summer wind

The talk of a coming “Blue Tsunami…” As if.

all the calm

of the ocean

politics

Traveling these blue ways …

Love it, Frank. You worked “blue” over and under, and per usual, your form is unique. Got me thinking of the “BlueTsunami” coming in November.

Very nice set Frank! I can’t wait for the political smog to clear. Seem like Beijing with no Blue sky in sight!

I love the trip from nature and summer winds to blue tsunami and politics….but then again, that just more summer wind, now isn’t it?

I love the image, so many shades of blue, the shape and form of your quadrille, and the word play and imagery in:
    ‘Blues riff
    on a cocktail napkin
    a single tear’.
I also share Grace’s hope that the blue tsunami washes away the ocean of dirt. Let’s see what mayhem Mary Trump’s book releases.

Interesting form, Frank. I like the first stanza, makes me think of old Hollywood films, then old blue eyes…
