darkest night
like your breathing

Rachel Sutcliffe, an accomplished and recognized haiku poet,
died this past week. My senryū is a response to
Frank Tassone’s #Haikai Challenge #70: Rachel Sutcliffe,
which asks us to use one of Rachel’s poems as inspiration.

Join Frank’s challenge or read other responses Here.
