#Haiku Happenings #5: the AHS Winter Solstice Haiga Kukai begins!

The Australian Haiku Society invites contributions from haiku poets worldwide to the AHS Winter Solstice Haiga Kukai. The Kukai will open on the first day of the Southern Hemisphere winter solstice, which occurs in Australia on Thursday, 22nd June, 2019. The submission period will remain open until Saturday 28th June. Please send no more than one previously unpublished haiku per image. If you send more than one haiku per image, only the first haiku sent will be considered. Submissions will only be accepted if entered in the comments section.

The winning haiku will be displayed on the AHS website.

By entering the competition, entrants agree to make their haiku available for use on the AHS website, although copyright will remain with the author.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding winning entries.
