My response to Carpe Diem Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary October 2020: Carpe Diem 1830 Storm
For the second post of Carpe Diem’s celebration month, Chèvrefeuille has chosen a theme that fits the season.
In the UK, especially here along the North Norfolk coast, we have been experiencing stormy weather. Last week we lost power, trees were blown down and a seafront road blocked with sand, and we’re expecting more of the same this weekend. Autumn has two faces: one with golden colours and the other grey and stormy.
Our challenge is to write a haiku (classical or non-classical) on the theme of storm.
