#Haiku Happenings #9: Freya Pickard publishes one of Jane Dougherty’s haiku! Hat tip to Jane Dougherty for the link.

purehaiku's avatarpurehaiku

With billowed sails we
skim green waves, trailing lace gowns
where sleek dolphins dance.
Jane Dougherty 2018

Jane Dougherty writes poetry and prose whispered to her by friends in the otherworld, among the stars, and hiding in the hedge by the stream.

The magic and the strong picture this haiku evoked in my mind’s eye made it one I had to choose!
This haiku is part of my OCEAN series.
