tenderness of old age

spun from two clouds –

distaff of time.

二つの雲から紡いで取られた

雨の絹のような足音 ―

時間の糸巻棒

A few steps remain

I’d like to relay the crutch,

unused.

数歩が残っている

松葉杖を中継したい、

未使用のまま

Burned candles

remain in memory:

famous wax figures.

燃えた蝋燭

思い出の中に残っている：

有名な蝋人形

the heart is counting my age –

New Year’s wind chime.

年に一度

心が年齢を数えている ―
