For JusJoJan day 20, we were given the word “Serendipity.”

When I was entering high school and got to choose a foreign language to study, my preference was Japanese, as I was an avid anime fan. I ended up being placed in French, my second choice, and I am glad for that! The culture is much richer than I ever thought at 14, the language has been entertaining to learn, and I am now looking into becoming a French teacher myself. Also, one of my first good poems that I wrote was inspired by something that happened in French class, and there are even many wonderful saints who were French. How wonderful that my first choice did not occur!
