disappearing

act current memory; like thin ice daily she slipped grasping a false spring

hanging onto the fragile past, while evolution whirled

always in winter;

even in a sunshine state, aging was not kind

bound in assisted living,

retirement; tarnished silver…

…that she just could not polish no matter how hard she rearranged thoughts
