We have art on the walls fromBethesda Thrift Storein Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I imagine the paintings have many stories.

It always amazes me to watch the days grow longer again, even during our long winters. We have lived here long enough, that the light and gardens tell me the time and seasons, in a general way. The garden is always beautiful – the flowers, and also the entire cycle.

I took this photo in the yard yesterday – daylilies and tree shadow in the morning light.
