Whenever authors publish how-to writing guides, they should do it because they feel there is a need for their books in the marketplace. Sure, there are other how-to books on a particular subject, but in writing a new book, the author should strive to offer a fresh angle on the subject that will allow others to better understand and write in that particular genre.
