consumers of wants, needs left

out be sun bleached raw?

full of hot air, to be stored

away, deflated egos

waiting to pay bills

of things we cannot afford;

forgetting free love?

from a crazy dying world

whose nature we assume tame?

what accepted myths

will keep our spirits alive;

newly committed…

to the New Year, new season,

ideas we once knew true?

re-dedication

linking all peoples; gather

accept outstretched hope

no little monster’s red eyes

reflect in my candles flames

dance in the longer

light at winter solstice joy

praise holy angels…

gift joy; inflate love; believe

in what is impossible…
