Fay’s Note: Shortly after ‘Hina Matsuri’ (Dolls Festival or Girls’ Festival) on March 3, hina dolls are stored until the next year. My grandmother used to say ‘if we don’t store them early enough, a chance of your marriage at the right age will go away.’
