mihotoke no tenohira wa kû tori kumo ni

            deity’s palm

            is empty…

            birds into cloud

Fay’s Note:  ‘tori kumo ni iru’ (‘bird enters clouds’ (meaning a migrating bird return to north) is a spring kigo.
