nd 5.3 a May haibun – Jules Pens Some Gems…

Haiku Happenings #2: Jules’ latest #haibun for my current #Haikai Challenge!

a May haibun

I was going to write a mash up for some prompts today. Lucky for me this piece fits at least one prompt. I got distracted by catching up on my email and return visits. House chores and weeding. And two good walks. As well as checking in on and dining with an in-law. And now the sun has almost set around eight twenty. There is a pink ribbon on the horizon that I can barely see through the trees as the sun sinks into the west and the pastel pale blue of the sky. The eastern view shows a waxing flower moon through clouds too thick for starlight.
