Huntress Moon – contrariaN creativE

Marking the moment –
Autumn Goddess embraces
equal night and day

Ingathering feast
ripened fruits of the earth shared
Huntress moon rises

Fierce and protective
solitary Blue Heron
standing guard over
rippling waters of strange worlds
where nothing is at it seems

Prey and predators
never ask why they exist
from where they once came –
Humankind pretends to know
In the end, the fates decide
