the year counts down, months, weeks; daze

choices swirl in dreams

Jesse illuminated another haiku from Norman’s journal. While it was only nearing the end of summer, some businesses were preparing for the end of the year. Jesse thought again about whether she should approach Mae Norwich at some sort of library committee meeting. She would need some sort of a disguise before getting too close to Hawthorne Hills. It was still summer so sunglasses, a good fake tan and perhaps a hair change along with some men’s clothing from the thrift shop might boost her tenacity?
