Fallen Headstones

#Haiku Happenings #1 (6/19/23): Al Gallia’s haiku appears in Charlotte Digregorio’s Daily Haiku (5/31/23)!

I am very proud to have one of my haiku included in Charlotte’s recent Writers Blog Daily Haiku.

An old, overgrown cemetery is such a sacred place to me. Add to the solitude the countless layers of fallen leaves that cover the often unidentified graves, and I feel truly close to God and Nature. There is something hallowed about such a place.

Blessings and peace, my friends.
