Total freedom is a frightening concept for many, for they would not know what to do. We are so used to living in a structure, which defines our boundaries. A film called ‘Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding showed us, what would happen in absence of civilization. The animal instincts totally take over, giving rise to beastly acts.

Then, what is the freedom that I hanker for? It needs to be redefined as the freedom to be myself, to express my views, without causing harm or offence to anyone else. While I accept a broader set of rules,  I wish to transcend the space from being a follower to a free-thinking individual. If I worship ethics, and profits are the new religion, so be it. I choose not to convert.
