(dj) March Ink/ debouch (3.3) – Daily Jewels by Jules

#Haiku Happenings #16: Jules’ latest #renga soliloquy for my current #haikai challenge!

debouch
(renga, pi ku, Sedoka)

from what small valley
raced and roared the screaming air?
sixty mile hour winds

bending tree branches like twigs…
finally to settle down

allowing a break
showing pastel pink clouds on
the west horizon
*
emerging
with
endless breadth; wind
*
bravely fighting the
debouch currents, backyard birds
cling to the feeder; attempt
to raid it of seed
and in frantic flight return
to their relative safety
