#Haiku Happenings #1 (6/26/18): Suzanne’s latest #haibun for #dversepoets!
Just past the winter solstice and the sun begins to inch its way back to its summer time zenith. Outside my house a murder of crows caw ceaselessly from the gum trees. They’ve been at it all morning. A line from an old Donovan song comes to mind – “Must be the season of the witch”.
I smudge my house.
Energy comes in waves shaking lose the old foundations of my being. Dust clouds of old thoughts waft away in the sage smoke.
spacious and unnamed
