    Love this, Frank. I remember when I was young, so many decades ago, the wild strawberries at the end of the horse pasture, down a slope. Perhaps it was because of their fertilization and the natural carry of rain, but I have never tasted anything as sweet and good as those berries. The ones in the store and the ones I have tried to grow are a pale comparison to those wild ones of so many decades ago. Now I read that these wild strawberries go for $$$ a pint! We used to stuff our mouths with them after school, and in harder times, before school. Thank you, Frank…for the haiku and the memories. Good haiku should uncover good memories.
