I wonder if I have ever asked anyone to worship my mother. Also I don’t remember anyone asking me to worship their mother. I have mine and they have theirs.

Aparna Pathak is a freelance writer from India. Her work appears in Poetry Life and Times, Reflections, Negative Suck, Poetry24, Rolling Thunder Press, Blue Cygnus, Earthen Lamp Journal, Lost Tower Publications, Silver Birch Press, The Heron’s Nest, Shot Glass Journal, and elsewhere.
