What is your ideal vacation? Now is your chance to wax poetic about it, in the haikai style to which we have all become accustomed. This week, write your haikai  poem (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that states or alludes to vacation.

chillin’ in morn sun
only the sounds of nature
drinking cup of tea

a poet with pen in hand
the view my inspiration

noise of world silenced
no phones, computers, people
just my love and me

a hammock and two strong trees
snoozing away afternoon

what could be better
than restoration of soul
holiday dreaming
