combatant sibling
unwilling to raise peace flag;
unless ‘they’ have more

compromise as distant as
the land that separates them

nothing seems civil
anymore except the art
of the broken heart

where is the armistice and
the honor of remembrance

of fore mothers and
forefathers who fought for their
right to bicker so?
