winter solstice: haiku

#Haiku Happenings #6: Janice’s latest haiku for my current #haikai challenge!

Janice's avatarOntheland

darkness lingers

I fold into the shadows

an owl of night

:

days dwindle

words heard long ago kindle

a path through the night

:

winter solstice

we catch the sun

in a butterfly net
