#Haiku Happenings #2: revivedwriter’s latest #haibun for my current #haikai challenge!

For Frank J. Tassone’s weekly haikai invitation, we are alluding to awayuki, the Japanese word for light snow.

Looking up at the high and far-off mountains, I see their white caps. All of the rain at lower altitudes has brought snow a few thousand feet up. It’s a beautiful sight, but very unusual here, and on the cusp of spring.
