Gogyohka for betrayal by moonlight

#Haiku Happenings #7: Jane Dougherty’s latest #Gogyohka for my current #haikai challenge!

Jane Dougherty's avatarJane Dougherty Writes

A gogyohka for Frank Tassone’s weekly prompt. Sorry if it’s not quite in the spirit of the hunters’ moon, but I’ve had a bellyful of the feckers today.

by sunlight and moonlight

the hunters hunt

does the moon weep

when they creep

upon the silent deer?

Sorry Frank! Our deer season opens up Thanksgiving day. They will be out in droves.
