Haiku Happenings #12: Jules’ latest hybrid #haibun for my current #haikai challenge!

Withering wind – kogarashi
(Diatelle haibun hybrid)

air
magic
or tragic
leaves a turning
colors bold, fantastic
young buck across the creek roaming
this shortest of November days looming
as the wind whips through the trees and my hair, I stare
up in blue sky, at slow white clouds blowing
with a keening and a knowing
my thoughts telepathic
dreams slow drifting;
stalled traffic…
magic
air

into thin air; gone
losing an hour this short day
kogarashi play
