#Haiku Happenings #2: Jules’ latest solo #renga/#AmericanSentence sequence for my latest #haikai challenge!
December observations (haiku, solo renga, American sentences)
all nestled at night
no dog will howl at winter’s
full mafayu moon
***
four scampering deer
across the creek; does winter’s
moon glow where they rest
***
Hornet’s paper nest
too fragile for fierce winds- Moon
shines on the debris
***
opposites attract
celebrations; relations
ugly sweaters, sweetsbooking travel; escape
humid heat, or bitter cold…happy medium?
quiet glowing, a heart’s fire
between the love birds
***false buds dot the maple, no winter blooming; bouncy solstice weather
*
no leaves yet but the forsythia bush has three little yellow blooms
*
she asks; will the howling bitter wind bring the solstice any sooner?©JP/dh
