#Haiku Happenings #7: Dave Madden’s latest #senryu for my current #Haikai Challenge!
His forehead’s cut gushed,
Like a bloody waterfall,
From an elbow’s slice.

Excellent. Love the last line being so stripped down and simple and as sharp as a full tang tempered steel knife that has just painted the fluid landscape of the 1st 2 lines.

I’ve been in that spot, been in that spot on both sides of the elbow. Your haiku embraces that place, from both sides.

Oh, 🙂 I meant the elbow. So, Dave Madden’s Senryu embraces that place, from both sides. Still excellent. Thanks for clarifying.
