nd 8.30 morning garden 3p – Jules Pens Some Gems…

#Haiku Happenings #5: Jules’ latest solo #renga for my current #Haikai Challenge!

morning garden (solo renga story series)

safe, shrouded in fog
no one knew the green fiddler…
“he went that-a-way…

(though the giantess could not
understand the the croaking frog)

into the soft bed
of the silent horn of the
pale Morning Glory”

said the wide awake kearu
“Tis glorious morning, nu?”

Frog astride a katydid

Katydid just wants
to give credit where it’s due
after that party

(the giantess discovered
the instrument and maestro

“not quite all country
my slice of suburbia”
said the giantess

“Was it your music keeping
me awake until wee hours?”)

did the maestro blush
in the garden all a hush
as dawn gently broke?
