Sometimes wishes do come true. I made plans to buy plants for my balcony planters, but the times being what they were, made that prohibitive for me. The epidemic dictated our travels and the expense of buying anything seemed way too much.
As I pondered this and began to investigate my planters which were still full of old soil, I saw sprouts growing. The idea came to me to nurture them. To my surprise they responded beautifully. I still didn’t know what they were, so I researched the internet. Weeds! They were Lambs Quarters. As I continued to nurture them, I discovered another type of sprout in amongst them. So, I replanted them in another planter. Lo and behold…
