Fay’s Note: ‘nemachizuki’ (moon one waits while lying on one’s side) is the moon of the 19th day of the lunar month) and an autumn kigo. FYI: the moon of the 17th day is ‘tachimachizuki’ (moon one waits while standing) and the moon of the 18th day is ‘imachizuki’ (moon one waits while sitting).
