#Haiku Happenings #1 (12/31/20): Eugenia’s latest #tanka for Colleen’s #Tanka Tuesday Weekly #Poetry Challenge No. 209, and my own current #Haikai Challenge!

full cold moon rises
glimmers of hope before dawn
wayward visions dwell
enclosed in unturned pages
new beginnings await us
Frank’s prompt-Here’s to a new year, then. Let us celebrate by writing the haikai poem of our choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that allude to either Cold Moon (fuyu no tsuki), New Year’s Eve (toshi no yo), or New Year’s Day (ganjitsu).
#TANKA TUESDAY Weekly #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 209, Last challenge of2020
Colleen’s prompt – For the LAST poetry challenge of 2020, I want you to write a poem about hope, using your favorite poetry form (it doesn’t have to be syllabic). Please make these poems inspirational to others.
