#Haiku Happenings #1 (2/17/21): Jules’ latest poetic #haibun for my current #Haikai Challenge!
Spinning Straw or Just Spinning?
We have more time to worry
About the sky that is red in the morning
And the winds that howl
Louder than a congress of crowsGreen Granny Smith apples shipped
From who knows where
Remember to wash everything,
But conserve blue water too…Not Snow White’s world now-a-days
But there’s a boat load of poisons
Inhaled in every breath – too much
Land, brown and grey over winterIt is still so cold this long winter
One can only hope for yellow daffodils
To alert our worn, shadowed eyes
That spring might actually arrive this yearwill a fable help?
set up with rainbow fairies
to dispel the weakoh to be in our prime lives
believing worry a wastecan a princely kiss
