Fay’s Note: “cockroach” is a summer kigo. The Kingdom of Yamatai appeared in the ancient Chinese record as Japan during the Yayoi period (2300 (or 2400) BC – 1700 BC). Its exact location in the Japanese Archipelago has been debated for a long time.
