Welcome to my inaugural Haikai Challenge! Take your opportunity to contribute to the art!

It’s October! The famed harvest celebrations bearing the month’s name wind down in Bavaria but just get started in Germany. Fall foliage is around the corner! And that spooky night waits in the wings. So raise your steins and get your KIGO on!

Your Challenge: Write any haikai poem—haiku, haibun, Tanka, senryu, Haiga—with the KIGO Oktoberfest!

Here’s how:
