The perils of “letting go”

“Everything I ever let go had claw marks on it.” I had heard it said in the rooms many times by many people. When I was in therapy for a time, it described well my own conflicts with detachment. I told my therapist.

Never imagining how many times she would continue to raise that very quote in subsequent sessions.

the torn carcass left
