So… you have have noticed that I have not been around lately.
Well, I could tell you about our merry adventure. How the “Powers that be” in the place we used to live violated our lease. & that we responded by searching high and low for a new place.
I could tell you about trading agents. Or how the real estate scene in a closer corner of “New York’s Backyard” proved to not have what we were looking for, especially for the price we wanted.
Not to mention the property taxes.
I could tell you about how we found our new townhouse further afield. or how I held down the day job while selling yet more excess possessions on Facebook Marketplace. or even how we spent weekends preparing the place once we closed on it in mid-May, moving more and more of our stuff there.
I could describe moving day. Or the “re-nesting” that followed. All the new furniture assemblies. The deliveries. The re-arranging. The picture hanging.
But why bore you with the details?
