Avian Antics

A red-breasted robin leaps onto a high, thin branch on the apple tree. Branch and bird swing up and down three times. Then it flies.

A nearby maple tree’s high branch swings up and down. The robin?

Nowhere in sight.

swaying in a passing breeze
a dogwood

    Enjoyed this–a scene I see repeated at home so often. The robins brave the cold weather in Northern Nevada and it’s so easy to see them and all the other avian friends who enjoy our berries and suet.
