a quick check of the machine anyway…
Reveals a coffee-maker filled with coffee.
But not water.
“Fool of a man! Less poetry, more coffee-making!”
As a hastily-added caraf of water pours into a thirsty machine!

Ha, I have been there and done that also. Even worse water and no coffee!! Very weak indeed!! Poetry messes with your mind!

I have forgotten both, but now the machine won’t start without both, whew. Just back away from the pot and keep writing. Love the Haiku!
