Is there a moment more sublime? Lao Tzu counseled those troubled at heart, whom thought the universe agitated, to look out at the stars. I followed his advice many nights. Too often, I strained past light pollution to glimpse more than a morsel of steller serenity.
But once, deep in the countryside of Vermont, I looked upon a naked night sky. Oh, what cascades of joy! A cacaphony of constellations in which my teary eyes swam. I breathed in the bliss, smiling.
