Going

Twilight deepens to dusk, after such a radiant, brisk day. The lower wind chime has become hopelessly tangled. Breezes continue to pass anyway. So it goes.

A restlessness writing usually salves persists. The sandpaper sensation in both elbows, like ants walking on skin, continues. A growing tightness in the throat intensifies. So it goes.

It’s like that, some days. Time passes too quickly to truly savor, even though nothing much has happened. Aches and pains of chronic RA arise as infections fall. So it goes.

But another day comes. An abundance of phenomena await. New opportunities to enjoy accompany it.

So it goes.
