The searing heat of a New York July weekend continues even through scattered showers. Already the skies darken with thunderclouds, yet the temperature and humidity yield not one point.

Does Sydney suffer from a prevailing windchill and frost warnings? Has yet more snow consumed the streets? Or is this the sympathetic, yet uninformed, musing of another northerner that wonders out loud how the other half lives?
