Silvering

Teen Wolf, the series pilot. A lone lycanthrope flees a party of human hunters. Their grim-faced leader stares ahead, his cold blue eyes revealing not a wisp of weakness.

& why not? He comes from a long line of Argents—that bane of werewolves everywhere.

I haven’t seen the new Teen Wolf, but I loved the Michael J. Fox version. We watched it all the time. We wore out our VHS tape. Thank you for the reminder of a very fun show.

I love the disparate sections in your haibun, Frank. I’m not a Teen Wolf fan, but I so enjoyed An American Werewolf in London.  When I loved in London, I was a big fan of Camden Market, London, and I remember those silver Celtic crosses – I bet they still have them. And once again congratulations on your silver wedding anniversary.

Frank, I really like how you wove together silver in all its forms—moon, memory, metal, and marriage. That “skybound silver disk” hits with quiet power.

I enjoyed all these variations on the theme; most of all the middle one.
