Canticle of Joie de Vivre

Sing

of fall foliage

so late

or right on time in this

Sound-side state I now live

Sing

of Star Wars games

played and not

or overplayed

over and over

Sing

of retirement

how each day

just another Saturday…

a day ending in “y”

for dVerse’s Quadrille #259: Sing It!, hosted by De Jackson

Love it! Sounds like a delightful retirement to me! Especially if there’s a body of water involved.

Retirement is different… but to fill the days with songs has to be a good alternative
