#Monoku Monday 9/25/17: a #Quadrille #41 for dVerse Poet’s Pub

Fra Diavolo

Crushed red pepper, like yellow sunflower seeds in powdered blood. Marinara sauce made fresh from boiled tomatoes.

Mixed together, poured over a fresh lobster and linguini.

Forkfuls, washed down with Chianti!

For dVerse Poets Pub Quadrille # 41 (spice):

“Your entire poem need not be spicy or relate to spices (though that is fine too!) You can add “spice” or a derivative of the word with a subtle pinch. Be creative. Just remember that a quadrille must be exactly 44 words, excluding the title…”

The description of the crushed red pepper is uniquely devine! May I book a table? This is, as always, terrific writing.
